But people who just started playing the game like me, can't solo farm anywhere else except for places such as UW now. Hydras, Vermin, Griffons etc would drop shit now.

Or do you want me to go into UW first time with solo build and see me die over and over again?

Props to Gaile Grey for listening to alot of the veteran players, myself included, who voiced in masse our discontent with the extreme measures taken against farming and doing the right thing. Like I said in another thread, many of us have done just about everything else in game and farming was one of the few things we could do at our leisure and enjoy. I'm grateful that they listened and I think this is a fair compromise. I see that some people are still upset - the main difference with this and what had been in place is that you can adjust to this. This may make things more difficult for you in the short term but you have options and in the long term you should be able to adjust. There was no room to adjust before, everything was nerfed to the point where farming of any kind was no longer practical.

PS - And it's a GREAT day to see the bots take the hit and not the players. That one has been a long time coming

Thank you Anet...best...update...ever!

It's brought back everything i loved about GW and lost in the AOE / AI updates over the past two years.

Solo farm builds, running & powerlevelling are back. Green / gold solo farms reward the solo player and the new hard mode creates a greater party challenge.

Great stuff Anet, really well done

Thank you for posting the update details. However, despite this thread coming 9 minutes earlier, due to the slightly more descriptive title and higher level of current activity here, I'm going to close this and direct further posts on the subject to that thread on the subject of the update.
